Anesthesia Technician in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital is recruiting an Anesthesia Technician to join the team at our main hospital in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

A typical day will include: Supporting anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetist, nurses and other members of anesthesia care teams.

• Consults operating room schedule to determine supply and equipment needs for procedures
• Prepares anesthetizing locations for indicated procedure to include setting up anesthesia machine
• Routes non-functional equipment to the proper department for repair
• Performs inventory and restocking of supplies
• Cleans anesthesia machines, monitors and equipment
• Responds promptly to patient/staff requests for assistance

Job Requirements:

• • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: One year of experience preferred
  • Skills: Patient care
  • Licensure/Certification: CPI training within 1 year of hire
  • Physical: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop for prolonged periods of time
