  • Collaborate with customer engineering teams to identify reliability challenges, evaluate risks, and proactively develop improvement strategies.
  • Facilitate technical collaboration between customers and internal product teams to support innovation, design recommendations, and product roadmap improvements.
  • Lead and accelerate 8D problem-solving processes, root-cause investigations, and corrective action initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support reliability improvement activities, including DFMEA events, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a voice of the customer by sharing market insights, application requirements, and reliability feedback with product and engineering teams.
  • Partner with sales teams to support value-based selling, technical presentations, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Travel as needed, up to 50%, to support customer meetings, technical discussions, and field activities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced electrical engineering professional with strong application knowledge, customer-facing capabilities, and a proven ability to solve complex technical problems. They should be comfortable working across engineering, sales, and product teams in a high-impact environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, including medium and low voltage switchgear, panelboards, switchboards, protective relaying, busway, UPS systems, power distribution units, static transfer switches, and power monitoring solutions.
  • Experience supporting data center, hyperscale, industrial, or complex electrical infrastructure environments.
  • Proven experience with reliability engineering, root-cause analysis, failure investigations, corrective actions, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate customer needs into effective engineering solutions.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and training skills with the ability to engage technical teams, executives, consultants, and end users.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted customer relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic understanding of U.S. power distribution and data center markets.
  • Self-driven and organized with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future corporate sponsorship.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Preferred qualifications include MBA, Professional Engineer (PE) license, LEED AP certification, DFMEA experience, accelerated failure rate analysis experience, and familiarity with electrical products and services.
Benefits:
