The General Manager will lead the Enerfab Electrical business unit, driving operational excellence, ensuring project success, and upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, including strategic leadership, operational management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Electrical business unit, aligning operational initiatives with the company's mission and business objectives.
- Develop and execute operational strategies and growth plans for the business unit.
- Oversee daily operations of the business unit, ensuring efficient and effective execution of all projects.
- Monitor operational performance, implement improvements, and optimize processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Supervise project managers and teams in the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in all operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet or exceed project specifications.
- Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
- Procure necessary materials and equipment for projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact and addressing client concerns.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor the operations teams, including project managers, superintendents, and field personnel.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Oversee operational budgets, financial planning, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project records.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the Electrical business unit’s market presence.
Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction operations, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction project management, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Exceptional operational leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
