Accountabilities:

The Senior Organizational Design and Change Management Strategist will lead organizational diagnostics, develop strategic change approaches, and support modernization efforts by identifying the underlying dynamics that impact adoption and performance. This role requires strong analytical thinking, facilitation skills, and the ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Lead workshops, focus groups, and facilitated discussions to uncover root causes, stakeholder perspectives, and organizational challenges.
  • Develop and maintain metrics frameworks to measure organizational health, readiness, adoption progress, and change effectiveness.
  • Translate assessment findings into actionable change management strategies and recommendations for leadership teams.

  • Collaborate with organizational change management, behavioral science, and human factors teams to deliver integrated transformation strategies.
  • Create repeatable tools and methodologies for organizational assessment and change planning.
  • Monitor organizational risks, stakeholder alignment, and adoption indicators to proactively guide interventions.
  • Apply strong listening, facilitation, and relationship-building skills to understand complex organizational dynamics.
  • Navigate competing priorities and differing perspectives while maintaining trust and productive partnerships.
  • Adapt strategies based on evolving program requirements, stakeholder needs, and operational realities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in organizational design, institutional analysis, and change management with the ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Experience supporting aviation, government, or large-scale modernization initiatives is highly valuable.

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, Aviation Management, Political Economy, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant professional experience; or equivalent specialized experience.
  • Proven experience in organizational design, organizational development, change management strategy, or institutional analysis within large and complex programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate organizational structures, governance models, decision-making processes, and stakeholder relationships to identify root causes.
  • Strong experience developing metrics frameworks, scorecards, and analytical models to measure readiness, adoption, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Proven facilitation skills with experience leading workshops and working sessions that generate actionable outcomes.
  • Ability to translate complex organizational findings into clear recommendations for senior, non-technical audiences.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience working with aviation, federal, infrastructure modernization, or geographically distributed programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FAA operations, flight services, aviation systems, or Alaska aviation environments is a strong advantage.
