Director, Revenue Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Revenue Operations based in United States.

The Director, Revenue Operations is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for optimizing revenue operations, sales processes, and early-funnel performance.
This role serves as a key operational partner to executive leadership, driving forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and scalable revenue growth.
The position combines team leadership with direct ownership of critical initiatives across lead management, RFx processes, analytics, and AI-enabled operational improvements.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-moving SaaS environment where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are essential.
You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Enablement, and technology teams to improve business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

The Director, Revenue Operations will lead operational excellence across the revenue organization by improving processes, systems, and strategic alignment. This role requires a balance of executive-level thinking, team development, and hands-on execution to ensure scalable growth and measurable business impact.

  • Lead and develop a team of Revenue Operations professionals, including managers and individual contributors, by setting priorities, coaching performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Own the lead-to-opportunity lifecycle, improving conversion processes, analytics, attribution standards, and collaboration between Business Development, Marketing Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Drive optimization of RFx processes, ensuring proposal and response activities are aligned with revenue goals and supported by effective reporting and improvement initiatives.
  • Lead forecasting cadences, pipeline reviews, and revenue reporting processes to provide leadership with accurate insights into business performance and growth opportunities.
  • Build and improve operational frameworks, dashboards, and governance processes that increase visibility into pipeline health, bookings performance, and revenue metrics.
  • Partner with Finance on territory planning, capacity modeling, incentive planning, and strategic revenue initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance the revenue technology ecosystem, including CRM improvements, automation, analytics platforms, and AI-powered workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, data quality, activity capture, and sales execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Executive stakeholders by translating operational data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives, organizational design efforts, and cross-functional transformation programs.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading Revenue Operations or Sales Operations functions within a B2B SaaS or technology environment, with strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and a passion for operational innovation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or related go-to-market functions within a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams, including managers or senior individual contributors, with a proven ability to develop talent.
  • Demonstrated player/coach leadership style with the ability to define strategy while executing high-impact initiatives directly.
  • Strong experience managing lead-to-opportunity processes, funnel optimization, conversion analytics, and alignment between Marketing and Sales.
  • Experience with RFx processes, proposal management, and revenue conversion strategies is highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, revenue analytics, and building operational reporting frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS revenue metrics, including pipeline coverage, ACV, bookings, retention metrics, and growth indicators.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools and automation workflows to improve revenue operations and business efficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and familiarity with revenue technology platforms, BI tools, sales engagement solutions, and CRM governance.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
