Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Injection Molding Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining injection molding processes to ensure quality production, efficiency, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and start injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Process and troubleshoot molding machines to achieve optimum cycle times and part quality.
  • Monitor production runs and make necessary process adjustments.
  • Perform mold changes and machine start-ups.
  • Identify and resolve molding defects and process issues.
  • Assist in tool and mold maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and production requirements.
  • Document process parameters and production data.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of injection molding process experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of molding machine operation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and quality specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
