Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Infectious Disease Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like: Our Infectious Disease Clinic is a close-knit team consisting of one board-certified Infectious Disease Physician and one Clinic Manager. In this role, you'll work alongside our physician to provide specialized care for patients with a variety of infectious diseases and conditions. Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. While the clinic is closed to patients on Wednesdays, you'll continue to support patient care through phone triage, case management, and follow-up activities as needed.
In This Role, You'll Make a Direct Impact By:

Starting your day at 8:00 a.m. by reviewing priorities, preparing patient charts, completing documentation reviews, and following up on outstanding tasks.

Supporting the physician from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by rooming patients, completing assessments and intake documentation, providing clinical updates, and assisting with procedures.

Handling administrative and case management responsibilities using timely communication with patients and healthcare providers from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
As an Infectious Disease Nurse, You Will:

Provide comprehensive case management, care coordination, prior authorization support, and support other clinic operations and administrative functions.

Manage rabies vaccine treatment schedules, monitor patient adherence to treatment regimens, provide patient education, and respond to patient needs through telephone triage.

Administer vaccines, remove PICC lines, perform wound care, and complete dressing changes.

Serve as a key resource for patients, helping them navigate complex treatment plans and achieve optimal health outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited program (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse). Wound Care Certification is highly preferred.
Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in the clinic setting (strongly preferred) or 4 hours of job shadowing in our clinic (required).
Skills: Communication, confidence, empathy, professionalism, critical thinking, patient assessment, self-discipline, integrity, and willingness to learn.
Licensure/Certification: Active Missouri License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
Physical Requirements: The ability to stand for long periods and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
