Registered Nurse /Licensed Practical Nurse/Certified Medical Assistant in Bolivar, Missouri at Citizens Memorial

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Pediatric Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

• Hours: 8:00a.m - 4:30p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: CMH provides complete pediatric care for children. Giving high-quality health care to infants, children and teenagers ensures our community has access to health resources for their children. Our dedicated pediatric staff offers a wide range of health care services for children. CMH pediatric care services include:

• Pediatric care for children (infant to 18 years)

• Pediatric illness

• Pediatric immunizations

• Pediatric injury

• Chronic condition management (such as asthma, diabetes and allergies)

• Monitoring growth and progress

• Well-baby and well-child exams

As a Registered Nurse you will be:

• Collaborating closely with the physician to provide high-quality, coordinated patient care

• Working closely with the physician to coordinate patient care, review test results, communicate treatment plans to patients, document care, and help ensure patients receive timely, organized care while keeping the clinic running smoothly.

• Reviewing labs, imaging, and pathology with the provider and communicating plans to patients

• Assisting in implementing and documenting individualized treatment regimens

• Supporting clinic workflow and ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of an accredited program (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant)

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting is preferred. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), patient communication, and care coordination is highly desirable.

Skills: organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, patient care, strong written and verbal communication.

Licensure/Certification: Active Missouri License as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Certification as a Medical Assistant

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and telephone. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff in person and by phone.
