About the role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist to join our dynamic team on our 1st Shift Mon - Fri 6AM - 3:30PM, Saturdays as needed from 6AM - 12:30PM. As a CNC Mill Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality components that meet our rigorous standards. This position is essential to our commitment to innovation and excellence in manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Edit programs and set up HAAS EC630 Horizontal CNC Mill to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements.
- Perform quality checks using bore gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Maintain tooling and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a CNC Mill Setup Machinist.
- 3+ years experience as a HORIZONTAL/Vertical Mill Setup Machinist with 4 and 5 axis functions.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in G-Code, M-code, Fanuc controls and blueprint reading.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
