Job Description
As part of the Hyperion family, EECO is a leading provider of hydraulic elevator systems and components located in Los Angeles, CA. We’re passionate about delivering smart solutions that ensure safety, reliability, and performance in elevator systems across the country.
We are currently seeking an Application Engineer to join our Customer Care Team — someone who brings technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a customer-first mindset to help drive our growth and support our clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide Technical Expertise:
- Size, select, and run calculations to identify the best-fit hydraulic equipment for customers’ applications.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of our products, the elevator industry, markets, and competitors.
Drive Sales and Manage Proposals:
- Create and process proposals and sales orders following company best practices.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships through proactive communication and service.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities and grow our customer database.
Support Customers and Resolve Issues:
- Collaborate with the Field Sales and Warranty teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Provide timely, professional assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate Across Teams:
- Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and seamless project execution.
- Participate in internal meetings and contribute insights for process improvements.
Handle Reporting and Administrative Tasks:
- Generate summaries, reports, and data lists as requested by management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities and technical information.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- 3 or more years of experience in configured industrial product sales preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, CAD, ERP systems, or Salesforce a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable using Windows OS, web browsers, and search engines.
- Experience with Tableau or other analytics tools preferred.
Core Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to resolve conflicts professionally and maintain positive working relationships.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
