The Technical Account Manager I will serve as the primary technical liaison after the sales process, helping customers and partners successfully adopt and optimize security solutions. The role requires strong collaboration, customer advocacy, and the ability to translate technical challenges into effective solutions.
- Provide advanced technical support by partnering with product and engineering teams to investigate and resolve complex customer issues beyond standard support capabilities.
- Monitor customer interactions, manage escalations, advocate for customer needs internally, and ensure timely resolution of technical concerns.
- Support customer success initiatives by helping clients maximize platform value, improve security outcomes, and identify opportunities for expanded solutions.
- Conduct technical account reviews, onboarding sessions, training programs, and product education activities to accelerate adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a customer advocate by gathering feedback, communicating improvement opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams on product enhancements.
- Support account growth by identifying technical opportunities for additional solutions and helping customers align technology capabilities with business goals.
- Participate in customer-facing events, presentations, and training sessions to share best practices and demonstrate product expertise.
- Travel approximately 25% of the time to meet customers and partners in person when required.
The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge, cybersecurity awareness, and strong communication skills to support enterprise customers and build trusted relationships. This professional should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating across teams.
- 2+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, pre-sales engineering, customer success engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role.
- Experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or related technology environments, with familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Experience with malware analysis, threat intelligence, sandbox analysis, or other security-focused technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages, MSP tools such as RMMs and PSAs, and SIEM platforms such as Elastic or Splunk is beneficial.
- Comfortable presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences and adapting communication styles based on customer needs.
- Competitive compensation package with an estimated on-target earnings range of $115,000 to $120,000, including an 80/20 base-to-variable compensation structure.
