The Senior Atlassian Technology Consultant will lead customer-focused technology initiatives, providing expert guidance throughout solution design, implementation, and adoption phases.

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality Atlassian-based solutions, including architectural designs, integrations, migrations, upgrades, and system improvements.
• Engage directly with customers to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and operational challenges, translating them into effective implementation strategies.
• Provide expert recommendations, technical guidance, and best practices to help customers maximize the value of their technology platforms.
• Support solution adoption, rollout strategies, and scaling initiatives to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Manage customer engagements by coordinating schedules, communication, project activities, and delivery milestones while strengthening client relationships.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor, contributing expertise to internal processes, tools, methodologies, and delivery improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert within the Atlassian ecosystem and contribute knowledge to the broader technical community.
• Assist with proposal creation, statements of work, and technical discussions during pre-sales activities.
• Participate in customer sales conversations as a technical consultant, helping define appropriate solutions and approaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful consulting projects from initial discovery through completion.

The ideal candidate combines strong Atlassian expertise, consulting experience, and technical problem-solving abilities with excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as an Atlassian Consultant, Atlassian Administrator, Jira Administrator, or similar technical consulting role.
• Proven experience implementing Atlassian solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and user training.
• Strong background working directly with customers and influencing stakeholders through effective consulting practices.
• Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with experience facilitating workshops, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong technical knowledge including command-line environments (preferably Unix), SQL, scripting, software configuration, and system administration concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test planning, and use-case development.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and enterprise technology environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
