Compensation: $31.00–$35.00 per hour DOE

About the Role
This isn't a traditional warehouse leadership role where you'll spend your day behind a desk. We're looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working alongside their team, solving problems, improving processes, and creating an environment where people can do their best work.
As our Warehouse Supervisor, you'll lead the daily flow of inventory, prescription eyewear, frames, lenses, customer orders, returns, and warehouse activities from receiving through shipping in our fast-paced, high-volume fulfillment operation. You'll help set priorities, support your team, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure every customer order is handled with care, accuracy, and efficiency.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our San Diego headquarters, working five days per week.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership with hands-on work and takes pride in building an organized, high-performing team.
What You'll Do
Lead & Develop Your Team
- Lead by example, rolling up your sleeves to work alongside the warehouse team while coaching, supporting, and developing employees throughout the day.
- Set daily priorities, assign work, and help ensure orders continue moving efficiently throughout the day.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Operations and People & Culture on hiring, onboarding, training, employee development, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture built on collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
Keep the Warehouse Running Smoothly
- Oversee the daily flow of inventory, prescription eyewear, customer orders, and warehouse activities from receiving through shipping and fulfillment.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory transfers, order pulls, returns, vendor shipments, and special requests whilemaintainingaccuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor workflow, remove roadblocks, adjust priorities, and help the team meet daily goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team during busy periods and help keep operations running smoothly.
Own Inventory & Quality
- Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, inventory transfers, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
- Oversee customer returns, remakes, warranty claims, vendor returns, and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure products are accurately received, labeled, stored, tracked, and routed throughout the warehouse.
- Helpidentifyopportunities to improve inventory accuracy, organization, and overall team efficiency.
Partner Across the Business
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Operations and collaborate with Customer Service, the Optical Team, Quality Assurance, Sales, and other teams to keep work moving efficiently and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Communicate staffing needs, inventory concerns, workflow challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong relationships across departments while helping create a seamless experience for both employees and customers.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Identifyopportunities to improve workflows, productivity, inventory accuracy, and team efficiency.
- Help develop andmaintainwarehouse procedures, support new systems and technology, and recommend process improvements that help SportRx continue to grow.
- Lead by example and encourage a mindset of learning, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Three or more years of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping and receiving, or inventory management experience.
- Two or more years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with changing priorities.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
- A hands-on leadership style with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems. NetSuite experience is highly preferred.
- Experience withShipStationor similar shipping software is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities whilemaintainingaccuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience supporting e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, or production environments is a plus.
