This role offers the opportunity to support a high-impact client account within a fast-growing data center infrastructure environment.
The position combines account coordination, financial analysis, and operational support to ensure successful delivery of large-scale service agreements.
You will act as a key financial partner, managing reporting, forecasting, billing, vendor costs, and contract-related activities.
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
You will contribute to improving financial visibility, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction through accurate reporting and proactive insights.
This remote position provides the opportunity to work with complex infrastructure operations while supporting strategic business outcomes.
The Account Coordinator will serve as a dedicated finance and operations resource for a strategic client account, supporting end-to-end financial management, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder alignment. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to maintain financial discipline, improve processes, and ensure successful contract execution.
- Prepare financial reporting packages, dashboards, and supporting documentation for client reviews, leadership meetings, and business performance discussions.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify revenue, cost, margin, and operational performance drivers while providing actionable insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities to improve visibility into account performance and future business needs.
- Manage billing processes, including invoice preparation, supporting documentation, revenue tracking, accounts receivable follow-up, and reconciliation activities.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, deferred revenue recognition, reconciliations, and financial adjustments.
- Monitor account profitability, budget performance, burn rates, and contractual financial requirements.
- Track vendor costs, invoices, purchase orders, rebates, and passthrough expenses while ensuring accurate coding and documentation.
- Maintain contract-related records, including change orders, pricing adjustments, CPI increases, and audit support documentation.
- Participate in governance meetings and communicate financial updates, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, service delivery, finance, and business development teams to ensure financial alignment and operational success.
- Support data integrity initiatives and process improvement efforts across financial and operational systems.
- Drive automation and reporting enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in financial analysis, account coordination, or client-facing finance roles, with the ability to manage complex financial processes in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and experience working with operational data are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in account coordination, financial analysis, or a client-facing finance role.
- Experience supporting billing, revenue recognition, cost tracking, forecasting, and month-end close processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze complex financial information and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with Time & Materials (T&M), passthrough billing models, or performance-based contracts is preferred.
- Familiarity with data center operations, critical infrastructure, engineering services, or facilities management environments is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems, automation tools, Power Query, Smartsheet, or Power BI is preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance, safety, and operational standards such as EHS, OSHA, or NFPA is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Competitive annual salary range of $65,000–$80,000.
- Fully remote work environment with occasional travel requirements.
- Standard working schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
