Senior Strategic Accounts Manager- Hospitality

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Strategic Accounts Manager- Hospitality based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic growth within the hospitality industry by developing high-impact partnerships with leading hotel organizations.
You will act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, influencing brand standards, specifications, and long-term business strategies.
The position combines relationship management, consultative selling, and strategic account leadership to expand market presence.
You will collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and business development teams to create solutions that deliver measurable customer value.
This field-based role provides the chance to shape industry partnerships while working with nationally recognized hospitality brands.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Strategic Accounts Manager will lead strategic account growth initiatives by building executive relationships, expanding partnerships, and driving adoption across hospitality organizations. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to create sustainable business opportunities.

  • Develop and strengthen executive-level relationships with hospitality brand leaders and key decision-makers responsible for product standards and specifications.
  • Influence hospitality brand standards and approval programs to expand product adoption across national hotel organizations.
  • Create and execute strategic growth plans for assigned accounts by identifying opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and increasing long-term market presence.
  • Establish strategic agreements that support broader adoption opportunities across franchise groups and ownership networks.
  • Lead complex initiatives from strategy development through implementation while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, channel teams, and sales leadership to develop initiatives supporting hospitality growth objectives.
  • Partner with regional sales teams and strategic account teams to translate brand-level strategies into actionable customer opportunities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by supporting sales teams with insights into hospitality standards, customer strategies, and market opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to provide recommendations that inform future business strategies.
  • Manage travel and business development resources effectively while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer experience.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with experience managing enterprise accounts, building long-term partnerships, and influencing senior stakeholders. They should demonstrate strong commercial judgment, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage complex customer environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive sales experience with a proven record of achieving business objectives and developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience managing national or enterprise accounts within hospitality, commercial construction, building products, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success creating strategic partnerships that deliver mutual business value and customer growth.
  • Experience influencing executive-level stakeholders and navigating complex, multi-party decision-making processes.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage large-scale initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%, including approximately 3 to 4 overnight trips per month.
  • Preferred experience working directly with hospitality brands, hotel organizations, architects, designers, ownership groups, distributors, or commercial construction professionals.
  • Preferred knowledge of hospitality brand standards, specification processes, and commercial project cycles.
