This role offers the opportunity to help organizations strengthen their cybersecurity posture through hands-on engineering, advisory expertise, and innovative security solutions. You will design and implement security strategies across complex cloud environments while helping clients address evolving cyber risks. Accountabilities:

As the Cyber Security - Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for delivering cybersecurity engineering solutions that protect client environments, improve security maturity, and support broader risk management objectives. You will work closely with leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to design secure architectures, automate security processes, and respond to emerging threats.

  • Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions that protect sensitive data, applications, cloud environments, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Monitor and analyze security telemetry across multi-cloud environments using tools such as Azure Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and Google Cloud Logging.
  • Investigate security alerts, respond to incidents, improve detection capabilities, and tune security monitoring rules.
  • Develop and implement identity and access management strategies across cloud platforms, including IAM, RBAC, privileged access management, and zero-trust security models.
  • Secure cloud infrastructure through network protection, encryption, workload security, data protection, and configuration management across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
  • Deploy and maintain cloud security tools to identify vulnerabilities, enforce security baselines, and support compliance requirements such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
  • Embed security practices into development workflows through DevSecOps methodologies, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and continuous security testing.
  • Build automation frameworks and internal security tooling using scripting languages and AI-enabled development tools to improve security operations and efficiency.
  • Apply generative AI technologies to accelerate security analysis, code development, documentation, and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate cybersecurity risks into practical business-focused solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members, contribute to knowledge sharing, and support the continued growth of cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Participate in broader practice initiatives, including recruiting, training, and improving delivery methodologies.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced cybersecurity professional with strong cloud security expertise, a consulting mindset, and the ability to communicate technical concepts in a business-focused manner. You should be comfortable navigating complex environments, solving security challenges, and collaborating with both technical and executive stakeholders.

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security engineering, or related security roles.
  • Hands-on experience securing environments across at least two major cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of zero-trust architecture, cloud networking, container security, vulnerability management, secrets management, and data protection.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and securing cloud-native workloads.
  • Understanding of cloud security frameworks, compliance requirements, and threat modeling practices.
  • Experience implementing security controls across multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with security automation, Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager, and scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management principles, including least privilege, IAM, RBAC, and privileged access management.
  • Ability to analyze security risks from both technical and business perspectives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, leadership, and technical teams.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), or CISSP are preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with comprehensive employee benefits.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Paid time off and flexible work options.
  • Opportunity to work on diverse cybersecurity engagements across multiple industries.
  • Exposure to leading cloud platforms, security technologies, and emerging AI-powered tools.
  • Supportive environment focused on mentorship, professional development, and career growth.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the growth of a cybersecurity practice and make a measurable impact for clients.
  • Collaborative culture built around teamwork, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
