SAGE Black is looking for qualified candidates with an active TS/SCI Clearance who will have the opportunity to work with platforms and mission applications for intelligence and defense customers with domain emphasis in Geospatial Intelligence, Intelligence, and Mission Management. The qualified candidate will support systems engineering for an enterprise system of complex software services and frameworks in the C2S environment. This system provides services and user interfaces for intelligence data management and includes graph, relational and unstructured database technologies.

The Systems Engineers work with our customers and other segments to define new features and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for an enterprise intelligence content management system. Using the Agile process, they perform backlog feature generation, work with Software Architects to define architectures that will support future roadmap capabilities using cloud technologies, define required parameters and data formats for ingest and discovery services, as well as supporting Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with customers and other programs. Presentation packages are developed to communicate concepts, CONOPs, requirements and potential architectures to the customers, other segments and development teams. They follow the features during development across areas/scrum teams to ensure that the development converges on a coherent and unified system. The Systems engineers assist the test team in the development of program level demonstrations, as well as developing ICDs, training materials for systems operators and other architectural drawings and presentation materials.

Your Credentials Include:

Current Top-Secret Security Clearance and be SCI Eligible

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical discipline and at least 3+ years related experience – 4 years of professional experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree

Your Experiences and Strengths should Include:

Familiarity with Geospatial Intelligence domain, practices and procedures

Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment

Knowledge of Systems Engineering activities, processes, and methodologies (Agile, waterfall, etc.)

Experience with requirements development, requirements management systems, system design of complex systems, incorporating modern designs and systems into existing platforms and developing technical documentation

Demonstrated technical writing skills

Strong oral and written communications skills

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, users, and contractors from the DoD communities

In addition to the above experience your skills should include some subset of the following:

Project milestones and technical review experience

Familiarity with Cloud computing environments and services such as Amazon Web Services

Familiarity with open service based architectures

Experience establishing and working with Agile teams

Proficiency with Agile management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, VersionOne)

Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
