  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • The Central Sterile Supervisor is responsible for unit performance, operations, staff development and supervision of staff and ensures compliance with AAMI, AORN, FDA, EPA, OSHA and other regulatory requirements. The CS Supervisor, working in collaboration with the CS Manager, actively drives the unit-specific plan and operations.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High school diploma or equivalent, Supervision or Nursing

    • Minimum Experience
      • Knowledge of surgical instrument/device reprocessing and departmental processes, including all regulatory requirements.
      • Three years of experience as an Instrument Technician.
      • One year experience as Shift Team Leader.

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • CSPDT

    • Preferred Education
      • Bachelor’s degree in management or health-care related

    • Preferred Experience
      • Staff supervisory experience, skills/training in employee development, computer applications experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • CSPM

    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
