NO TWO DAYS ARE EVER THE SAME AT THE SHELTER! (IYKYK)

Our Gateway West Shelter team in Albuquerque, NM is looking for our next Shelter Supervisor to dive in and make an impact with people experiencing homelessness. If you model trauma-informed care in all you do, we can't wait to hear from you!

SCHEDULE
We are filling overnight and day shifts. Weekends/holidays are needed to meet the needs of the shelter.

ABOUT GATEWAY WEST
Gateway West is Albuquerque’s largest shelter, serving an average of 600 people per night, with cold winter nights bringing in more than 700 people, offering a safe and welcoming environment to people experiencing homelessness. The center is open year-round, offering meals, a warm overnight bed, and secure under-bed storage. Shuttle service is provided daily. The team's goal is to guide guests through a successful exit from the shelter to safe, stable housing and a plan for ongoing support.

As part of Chicanos Por La Causa, we believe in human dignity. Our work at the shelter goes back to our mission to drive economic and political empowerment.
