Release of Information Specialist at Willis-Knighton Health System – Bossier City, Louisiana

The Release of Information Management Department is seeking a Release of Information Specialist to assist with the daily operations at the WK Innovation Center.

The release of information specialist will work under the Assistant Director and should be qualified to perform tasks such as, but not limited to: processing and completing medical records requests; answering phones; retrieving and returning charts; scanning medical records and any duties commensurate with their ability as requested by the supervisor.

The individual should have a strong work ethic, dependability, possess excellent communication skills, have a solid knowledge of computers and have the initiative to work independently.

Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Upon hiring, the applicant will be required to attend an orientation session prior to beginning work in the department.
