Planner/Scheduler

Summary/Objective

Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to ensure customer orders are complete for on time delivery. Identify and address component issues that impact production. Seeks to improve work order process. Create work orders to Increase production throughput based on time standards.

Assignment-Tasks/Responsibilities

• Create and maintain efficient daily/weekly schedules generated through software.
• Create and understand effective reports to make production decisions.
• Provide swift responses to production issues.
• Identify enhancements to scheduling processes/methods to accomplish production goals.
• Proven ability to lead daily conference calls with cross functional departments.
• Proven ability to lead customer conference calls, as necessary.
• Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.
• Exhibit relentless desire to meet and exceed customer expectations and commitments.
• Strong desire to drive continuous improvement.

Physical Demands

• 60% office environment / 40% production floor

Required Education and Experience

• Associates’ degree in a related field.
• 2 years of related experience in manufacturing, supply chain management or related field.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) helpful.
• Logistics or supply chain.
