The Financial Analyst will support the Finance team with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis to drive informed business decisions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial operations within the food distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Assist in preparing financial and operational analyses for various departments.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain accuracy in financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by management.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist with the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasts.
• Support departmental expense tracking and reporting.
• Support consolidation and analysis of financial statement data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to provide financial insights.
• Support ad hoc analysis and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Track and analyze capital expenditures and free cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Internship or prior experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting.
