POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and passionate Line Cook with incredibly high standards to our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry's best practices
• Culinary school diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is regularly required to stand, reach, bend and lift heavy objects. The noise level in the work environment is typically high.
• Stamina and Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during shifts, often in fast-paced or busy environments.
• Strength: Capability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as luggage, equipment, or cleaning supplies, typically weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Manual Dexterity: Skill in handling a variety of tasks, such as cleaning, carrying items, or assisting guests with luggage.
• Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach in order to perform various tasks throughout the facility.
• Good Hand-Eye Coordination: Necessary for tasks like chopping, slicing, plating, and working with hot or sharp kitchen tools safely.
• Tolerating Heat: Comfort working in a hot environment, around stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers for extended periods.
• Speed and Efficiency: While not purely physical, the ability to work quickly and stay focused during high-volume service is critical to the role.
• Visual and Hearing Acuity: Ability to monitor food quality, kitchen safety, and communicate with fellow kitchen staff effectively.
