Job Title: Line Cook
Location: Miss Lucille’s Café – Clarksville, TN
Reports To: Café Manager
Schedule: Day Shift – Open availability required. Full availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and all weekends is essential.

Miss Lucille’s Café, located inside the beloved Miss Lucille’s Marketplace, is known for its warm Southern hospitality and fresh, creative menu. We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and café standards

• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before and during service

• Ensure food is prepared efficiently, correctly, and in a timely manner

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper dishwashing, surface sanitization, and trash removal

• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and proper food storage

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

• Support the kitchen team in daily tasks and café operations

• Participate in any training sessions or skill-building workshops as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role is required

• Strong interest in culinary arts and willingness to grow in the food service industry

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• Team player with excellent communication skills

• Must be proficient in English

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Open availability required for day shifts, including full availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and weekends
