About This Position
The Production Supervisor will manage employees and operations to ensure a quality product is produced and delivered to the customer in a timely and efficient manner. This role will establish and execute solid, effective day-to-day practices, and plans and ensure a safe working environment and an efficient manufacturing operation.
Essential Functions

• Experienced supervisor that manages an accurate inventory of materials and coordinates all aspects of the production schedule to meet customer needs.
• Lead for Operations, including safety, quality, and production management. Be able to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations. Make recommendations for improvement and develop action plans in the focused production area.
• Ensure quality is built into the process.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts is desirable. Use operational skills to reduce waste and streamline the manufacturing process. Demonstrate capability to implement Lean concepts, 5S, standard work, tier meetings.
• Supervise daily operations and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Provide guidance to direct reports; evaluate performance of and assist in career development planning for subordinates.
• Provide leadership, direction and motivation to employees in assigned area. Handle all disciplinary actions.
• Work with team and leadership to implement ideas for positive change.
• Experience with ERP, MS Office.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, delegate, follow up, provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Demonstrated team skills in leading and participating in cross functional teams.
• Ability to proactively work with and collaborate cross functionally with other departments.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels and departments of the business.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Possess a strong aptitude for managing multiple tasks and assignments with a sense of urgency.
Supervisory Responsibility
• This position will supervise the assigned team.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to varying temperatures. The environment is an active plant with continuous noises from equipment inside the plant.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling. The employee must be able to reach above your head and lift and or move items up to 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
(Subject to change based on business demands)
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
• Ideally 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
• High School diploma or GED
• Leadership capabilities, including driving team engagement, training, and communicating.
• Comply with all company safety rules and guidelines.
