Under the direction of the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, the licensed Pharmacy Technician III works in various practice settings such as compounding, medication management including controlled substances, staff training, procurement and USP compliance. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, the technician III assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications. They act as department liaisons, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals, and may handle tasks such as completing reports, operating automated dispensing systems, data entry, and providing comprehensive customer service.
