Polar Shades Inc. is hiring 6 full-time Installation Techs to join our growing field operations team. We supply interior and exterior manual and motorized shades for residential, commercial, health care, educational, hospitality, and other industries. Key Responsibilities
Installing manual and motorized retractable screens in both exterior and interior environments in both residential and commercial environments.
Accurately measure and install products per sales order specifications
Test all installed products for full functionality
Stock and maintain tools, equipment, and installation materials on company vehicles
Safely operate company vehicles and tools on job sites
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair products as needed
Follow all safety protocols and company installation procedures
Document installation activities and submit completed paperwork
Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Responsible for loading work trucks daily with the materials, parts and tools needed to complete the installation and repairs scheduled for the day.
Adheres to time clock procedures, safety rules and regulations, equipment operation, equipment maintenance and proper installation procedures in accordance with company training procedures.
Demonstrates and educates the end user (homeowner) on the proper use of the installed shade products.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of relevant field experience preferred
Strong work ethic, team player mentality, and professional appearance
Own and maintain personal tool belt equipped with all tools needed to perform job duties (cordless drill / impact and basic hand tools)
Must be able to perform basic electrical work as required for installation of motorized shade products.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to read measurements and perform basic math (including fractions)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, climbing, kneeling, crawling)
Able to follow written and verbal instructions and safety protocols
