Job Description
We are looking for a DOTD Certified Structural Concrete Inspector for the Shreveport area to join our team. The right candidate will have a background in the field, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety. The DOTD Certified Structural Concrete Inspector is to monitor daily on-site quality assurance, construction progress and prepare daily quality assurance reports to streets, highways, bridge, drainage and other utilities projects.
Responsibilities:
High School diploma with 10+ years experience in Structural Concrete construction projects
LADOTD certifications Structural Concrete required. Additional certifications a plus.
Out of State DOTD Certifications could be acceptable to LADOTD)
Computer skills include Microsoft Office Software including MS Word and MS Excel
Work with architects, contractors, and engineers on a daily basis.
Communication Skills both oral and written in English
Ability to read and comprehend civil engineering drawings and specifications
Hours: 40 - 60 Hours a week
Overtime - Time and a half
Duration of Job - 2 Years
