Job Summary: Welcomes and directs visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquires and by giving directions. Maintains building security by following procedures, monitoring lobby log book, issuing visitor badges and monitoring of the lobby. Reports into the Operations Group.
Essential Functions:
- Primary receptionist-screen incoming calls and assist callers in determining correct destination. Greet visitors and candidates in a professional and courteous manner and notify the appropriate department.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Assist supervisor with developing and maintaining reception scheduling
- Complete various projects directed by Customer Service Manager
- Process fax orders for parts/accessories as needed.
Position Specifications:
- High School degree required, business school preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of personnel and maintain strict confidentiality
- Intermediate to strong Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes skills preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
- Ability to take initiative to prioritize projects
- Flexibility
