KCRW is looking for an organized, hardworking, creative, and passionate intern to join our Audience department in Summer 2025 from June to August. The Audience Intern will support the growth of the KCRW audience, from fans to members, through social media and email campaigns, and assist with in-person tabling at KCRW events across LA County. They will work closest with the Membership team but they’ll also collaborate with colleagues on the Events, Newsletters, Social Media, App, Art, and Development teams. This position is an opportunity to learn about the entire audience user journey and public radio operations at one of the country’s most well-known stations. This internship will be hybrid, taking place in-person at our HQ in Santa Monica and remotely.Here’s What You’ll Bring:Familiarity with Google Workplace (Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.)Basic Excel and/or Google Sheets experienceStrong writing skills Strong interpersonal communication skills (in email, on the phone)Excitement for connecting with the KCRW audience at KCRW events Love for KCRW, its mission and audience. Preferred Skills:Basic knowledge of CRM and email marketing tools such as Salesforce and HubSpotData analytics and data entry experienceFamiliarity with project management tools such as Monday.comThis position is open to currently enrolled undergraduate college students who:Are currently enrolled as undergraduates, including students enrolled in associate degree (community college) programs in Los Angeles County.Are residents of Los Angeles County attending college outside of the region or currently attending college in Los Angeles County.Are able to legally work within the United States.Prospective graduates who will complete their undergraduate degree between May 1, 2025, and December 1, 2025, need not be currently enrolled at the time of the internship.The following students are not eligible:Candidates who have already earned a BA, BS or a higher degree.Candidates who have previously participated in the Los Angeles County of Arts and Culture Arts Internship Program.Candidates who are current or former staff members, employees, board members, trustees, officers, and/or directors of the organization.Candidates who are relatives of any of KCRW’s current staff members, employees, board members, trustees, officers, and/or directors.What We Offer:Salary: $17.87/hourSick leave awardVacation leave accrualPaid holidaysHealth insurance (including medical, dental, vision, FSA, life and AD&D) eligibility403(b) with company matchPassionate office environment surrounded by an incredible community of curious and talented colleaguesKCRW is a qualifying employer under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program - read more here to determine your eligibility
