Job Description

The Nurse Manager will assist the Director, Clinical Services, and the Manager, Patient Quality, in managing, coordinating, and maintaining an efficient, productive Hospice program. The Hospice Nurse manager is a member of the Interdisciplinary team and performs all assignments with honesty, integrity, and care, promoting Friendship Village's mission, vision, and values.

Job Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) degree required. BSN degree preferred.
  • Hospice experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospice regulatory requirements is both current and evolving.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Fosters an environment honoring patient preferences and choices.
