SCHEDULE:

• 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pm (Monday-Friday)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Spot Welder is responsible for setting up and operating spot welding equipment to weld nuts onto parts, ensuring proper machine configuration and that all welds meet required quality and torque specifications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate spot welding equipment according to job requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine correct nut placement and welding specifications.
• Weld nuts to parts accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect all welds to verify they meet torque and quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure proper welds for each job.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in spot welding or a similar manufacturing role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with welding equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, bend, squat, and twist.
