JOB SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Representative at TOMCO2 Systems Company is responsible for supporting sales growth by managing inbound leads, developing customer relationships, preparing quotations, and coordinating closely with engineering and operations teams. This role focuses on consultative selling of TOMCO2 systems and services, providing customers with accurate technical and commercial information while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Support & Coordination
- Support Outside Sales Representatives, Part and Service with lead management, opportunity follow-up, and account coordination
- Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and pricing documentation
- Track sales activities and maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM systems
- Assist with contract administration and order processing
- Qualify inbound leads and conduct outbound prospecting as needed
- Nurture leads through email, phone, and virtual meetings
- Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for Outside Sales Representatives
- Monitor pipeline activity and follow up on stalled or inactive opportunities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers on product inquiries, pricing, and order status
- Respond promptly to customer requests and resolve issues in coordination with internal teams
- Maintain professional and consistent communication to strengthen customer relationships
- Generate sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance to ensure timely order fulfillment and billing
- Support sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR ABILITIES:
- 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience (industrial, technical, or B2B preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical products and systems
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or similar tools)
- Experience selling engineered systems or industrial equipment
- Basic technical aptitude or ability to read specifications/drawings
- Experience working with manufacturing or systems-based companies
- Knowledge of CO₂ systems, refrigeration, or related industries (a plus)
