POSITION SUMMARY

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational accounts payable support, reconciling, processing and matching invoices and payments along with researching any discrepancies. This full-time, onsite position is based in Onalaska, WI, working Monday through Friday.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and reconcile purchase receipts with invoices
  • Prepare and execute payment runs
  • Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
  • Prepare reports for internal and external use
  • Assist accounts payable team in process enhancements and automation
  • Maintain electronic files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

  • High School diploma required, college degree in accounting strongly preferred
  • 0-4 years of experience
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
