About the Role

As our Accountant, you will progress to an officer of our company.

We’re looking for an Accountant who will manage the general ledger, AR and AP, and coordinate the payroll process, along with other related tasks.

This position requires a competent professional who has good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping tasks
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements on time
• Handle monthly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Oversee Outsourced Payroll Duties – initiate changes
• Work with Accounting review company for reporting and tax-related filing duties

Bookkeeping Duties

• Recording and categorizing financial transactions
• Preparing and reviewing invoices
• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Reconciling bank statements

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with accounting software, manufacturing systems, JobBoss or E2 is a plus
• Proficient with MS Excel
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Experience with the payroll process through payroll system; Paycor
