About This Position
Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead and be accountable for all local IT service delivery
Provide strategic and tactical alignment planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems for the facility to accomplish GVMH organizational goals and needs in accordance with GVMH strategy, standards and governance processes.
Effectively manage, supervise, engage and motivate remote employees
Oversee the facility’s computer operations of GVMH Management Information Systems, including local area networks, wide area networks and storage area networks
Serve as the GVMH HIPAA security officer, participate in the oversight, training and enforcement of system-wide and local data security policies
Coordinate with various GVMH teams to ensure that all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies, and legal requirements, including HIPAA
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Information Systems, or Business Administration
3-5 years of supervisory experience and demonstration of successful team management
3-5 years of progressive experience in managing application systems support teams in a distributed computing environment with an emphasis on project management and customer support
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with success in meeting budget, timeline, and quality expectations
Experience setting policies, procedures, equipment standards, and documentation standards
Experience in successful implementation of electronic health record and revenue cycle applications
