Job Overview:

Provides age appropriate direct patient care. Assumes responsibility for surgical instruments during operative procedures in the Labor & Delivery suite. Participates in maintaining an adequately supplied delivery room and labor room. Assists in transferring patients when necessary. Participates in unit Quality Improvement activities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduate from a certified Scrub Technician program

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Certified surgical technologist
