Director of Accounting and Finance at ALABAMA GOODWILL INDUSTRIES INC – Birmingham, Alabama

Location: Birmingham, AL | Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000

Alabama Goodwill Industries (AGI) is seeking a mission-driven Director of Accounting & Finance to lead financial strategy and operations that support our mission of empowering individuals through employment and education.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Lead cash management, audits, and compliance with nonprofit standards
• Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership
• Supervise and develop a dedicated accounting team

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA (or in process).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and audits
• A collaborative leader with high integrity and strong communication skills
