SpeedWash Car Wash is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help keep our car wash equipment, facilities, and daily operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This hands-on maintenance role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial maintenance, advanced electrical systems, troubleshooting, equipment repair, preventative maintenance, mechanical systems, plumbing, pumps, motors, tools, and facility upkeep. SpeedWash Car Wash is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help keep our car wash equipment, facilities, and daily operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. This hands-on maintenance role is ideal for someone with experience in industrial maintenance, advanced electrical systems, troubleshooting, equipment repair, preventative maintenance, mechanical systems, plumbing, pumps, motors, tools, and facility upkeep. Schedule Requirements
- Work 40-45 hours per week
- Work 5 days a week – Most days will be 2 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. Rotational Flex Schedule
- Must be reachable and available for after-hours emergency maintenance response, including nights, weekends, and holidays when urgent site needs arise.
- Perform and assist with the installation and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all emergency maintenance issues.
- Reduce downtime at all locations through repairing and preventative maintenance.
- Replace worn out equipment.
- Assist with training Site and Assistant managers to execute small repairs.
- Attend and participate in any training programs assigned to you.
- Diagnose equipment issues through testing and inspection, and determine repairs using technical manuals and reference materials.
- Assemble, install, and repair wiring, piping, valves, motors, sensors, and other industrial components including the installation and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager to order the necessary parts for site maintenance, ensuring quality, availability, and compliance with budget requirements in a timely manner.
- Maintain full documentation and logs in our systems.
- Keep operations leadership updated via the proper channels and report any accidents or safety issues immediately.
- Work directly with the Maintenance Manager or Facilities Director to develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies that improve site reliability, ensure safety, and reduce downtime.
- 3 years of maintenance experience, or a combination of training, school, and experience.
- Industrial maintenance certificate.
- Mechanical proficiency in basic hydraulics, plumbing, maintenance, pneumatics, and repair.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and mobile applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving ability and time management expertise.
- 3 phase electrical and electrical controls experience (Preferred).
- Familiarity with a CMMS system is a plus.
- Knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, controllers, and motor control centers.
- Applicants must have a valid drivers license, current insurance, a clean driving record with the ability to travel site to site.
