Job Description

Bilingual (Spanish) Maternal Health Registered Nurse

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual (Spanish) Maternal Health Registered Nurse based in United States.

This full-time remote role provides compassionate clinical support to mothers throughout pregnancy and the postpartum journey.
You will serve as a trusted nursing partner, helping identify clinical concerns and guiding members toward appropriate care.
The position combines telehealth, patient education, clinical escalation, and collaboration with care navigation teams.
You will also help strengthen care quality by sharing maternal health expertise and supporting the training of non-clinical team members.
The role offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with families while addressing both clinical and social needs.
Success requires strong clinical judgment, cultural awareness, communication skills, and comfort working in a technology-enabled environment.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Care Delivery and contribute directly to improving the member experience.

Accountabilities:
  • Conduct scheduled telemedicine visits throughout the postpartum period to identify unmanaged clinical needs, provide education, and address more complex maternal health topics.
  • Assess members experiencing Urgent Maternal Warning Signs or elevated blood pressure readings and help them determine the most appropriate care setting.
  • Review blood pressure measurements and Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) results, following up on abnormal values that have not already been escalated.
  • Serve as a clinical liaison between members and their obstetrics or primary care providers, documenting relevant visit summaries and escalating unresolved clinical concerns to the care team.
  • Support Maternity Navigators with evidence-based prenatal and postpartum education to promote consistent, high-quality member support.
  • Share insights from direct experience working with mothers and families to help inform and improve care programs and services.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Maternity Navigators and clinicians through case discussions, knowledge sharing, and care team huddles focused on health education and community resources.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in a compact state, with current eligibility in Tennessee or Indiana and willingness to obtain licensure in additional compact states as needed.
  • At least 5 years of experience providing prenatal and postpartum care in outpatient pediatrics, OB/GYN, maternal-fetal medicine, acute care, or a comparable clinical setting.
  • Native or bilingual Spanish fluency across speaking, writing, and reading, with demonstrated ability to deliver clinical information, patient education, and medical guidance in Spanish.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, empathetic, and culturally informed approach to patient care.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Confidence building trusted relationships with patients through virtual care and telemedicine.
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to quickly learn digital systems used for documentation and member communication, such as AthenaOne, Spruce, and macOS.
  • Ability to work remotely within the contiguous United States. Candidates residing in North Dakota, Alabama, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or outside the contiguous U.S. are not eligible.
  • Immigration-related work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Benefits:

  • Compensation of $40–$45 per hour, depending on years of directly relevant experience.
  • Fully remote work within the eligible contiguous United States.
  • Annual paid holidays.
  • For full-time salaried employees, unlimited time off after the 90-day introductory period.
  • For full-time hourly employees, three weeks of paid time off after the 90-day introductory period.
  • Medical insurance covering hospital, surgical, and prescription drug benefits, beginning the first day of the following month.
  • Dental insurance covering preventive, basic, and major procedures.
  • Vision insurance covering routine eye exams and eyeglasses.
  • Stock option grant.
  • Life insurance coverage.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
