As Director, Business Development - Locum Tenens, you will lead strategic new-business development efforts and build relationships with healthcare organizations to secure new contracts.
- Develop and execute strategic networking and business development plans to penetrate targeted healthcare markets.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers across hospitals and healthcare systems.
- Target strategically selected healthcare organizations that are not currently contracted and develop them into qualified opportunities.
- Create innovative approaches to reach prospective clients, establish credibility, and develop lasting relationships.
- Build and cultivate relationships that result in new Locum Tenens contracts and long-term partnerships.
- Present the full range of staffing services, technology, and solutions to healthcare organizations and clearly communicate their value.
- Educate prospective clients on solutions designed to address physician labor and workforce challenges.
- Develop compelling approaches to communicate differentiated value propositions to key decision-makers.
- Build, manage, and consistently advance an active pipeline of prospective clients.
- Generate new leads through strategic planning, referrals, networking, industry events, conferences, and other channels.
- Represent the organization professionally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prospective clients understand the breadth of available workforce solutions and technology.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a proven healthcare or SaaS sales professional with a strong executive presence, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a relentless focus on winning new business.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a top sales producer within the healthcare or SaaS industries.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales objectives and winning new business.
- Demonstrated success selling to C-level executives and senior healthcare decision-makers.
- Experience developing relationships with hospitals, health systems, or other healthcare organizations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare staffing, physician workforce challenges, or related healthcare services is highly valuable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex solutions and business value.
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking capabilities.
- Ability to think creatively and identify multiple paths to generate and close new business.
- Highly motivated, competitive, and persistent approach to achieving ambitious growth objectives.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and disciplined pipeline management.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams.
- Experience with healthcare technology, SaaS, or technology-enabled workforce solutions is advantageous.
