Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary needs. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Relate positively to residents and families

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Dietary Aide
  • Experience working in an assisted living facility
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
  • Ensure that all meals meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Assist in the cleaning and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
  • Follow all infection control procedures

Skills:

As a Dietary Aide, you will use your skills in patience, following written and oral instructions, working as a team member, and infection control on a daily basis. You will also need to relate positively to our residents and their families. Your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures will be critical in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their dietary needs. Additionally, your ability to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment will be essential in preventing the spread of infection.
