Lead Product Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Product Manager based in Canada.

The Lead Product Manager will own the strategy and evolution of a critical onboarding experience designed to help users adopt a complex platform with confidence and ease. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer experience, and business growth, with significant influence over product direction and execution. You will work closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer teams to transform user insights into impactful solutions. The position offers the opportunity to shape scalable B2B SaaS experiences within a fast-growing technology environment. You will also play an important role in strengthening product practices by mentoring other product managers and promoting customer-focused decision-making. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic product leader who enjoys solving complex problems and driving measurable outcomes.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead product strategy, execution, and continuous improvement for a key platform experience while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for onboarding and activation experiences from strategy through delivery.
  • Design intuitive workflows that improve user adoption, accelerate customer value realization, and enhance overall customer confidence.
  • Conduct user research and gather insights from customers, partners, and internal teams to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements.
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to translate concepts into scalable, high-quality product solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional launches with go-to-market teams, ensuring successful adoption and continuous optimization based on feedback and data.
  • Define measurable product outcomes and use analytics to guide prioritization, experimentation, and decision-making.
  • Mentor product managers and contribute to improving product processes, strategic thinking, and customer-centric practices across the organization.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with strong SaaS expertise, customer empathy, and the ability to influence teams across a business. Required qualifications and skills include:

  • 7+ years of product management experience with ownership of products throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Proven experience building and scaling products within SaaS, fintech, wealthtech, or other complex B2B/B2B2C environments.
  • Strong knowledge of wealth management, financial services, or advisor-focused workflows.
  • Experience improving onboarding, activation, workflow optimization, or customer adoption experiences.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using customer research, data, and business insights to drive product decisions.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer teams.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching product managers and helping teams improve their product practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product vision, priorities, and business impact.
Benefits:

The role offers a competitive compensation package and a supportive environment designed to encourage professional growth and long-term success, including:

  • Competitive base salary range of approximately $195,000 - $245,000 CAD for eligible Ontario-based candidates.
  • Potential additional rewards including variable compensation, equity opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.
  • Flexible work environment supporting remote collaboration.
  • Flexible time off to support work-life balance and personal wellbeing.
  • Opportunities for professional development, learning, and career growth.
  • A collaborative culture built on trust, respect, and continuous improvement.
