Position Summary
Triple C Housing Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This internship offers hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, digital file management, HR systems implementation, and employee support within a growing nonprofit organization.
The HR Intern will work directly with the Inclusion & Recruitment Specialist to assist with ongoing HR initiatives, recruitment coordination, HR compliance organization, and the continued transition toward digital HR systems and streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and drafting candidate communication
- Support onboarding activities including preparation of new hire paperwork for Day 1 and onboarding checklists
- Support the ID process for the new hires.
- Assist with maintaining employee records and ensuring HR documentation is organized and compliant on SharePoint and ADP.
- Support the digitization and organization of HR files within SharePoint and ADP systems
- Assist with reviewing current paper files and indexing the paperwork
- Assist with candidate documentation management along with recruitment module within ADP
- Support implementation and research of additional ADP products and HR process improvements
- Help prepare HR reports, trackers, and recruitment metrics as needed (which will assist with determining KPIs for HR)
- Assist with employee engagement and inclusion initiatives
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department and leadership team
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SharePoint or HRIS systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in nonprofit organizations, recruitment, and HR operations preferred
