We are seeking a dedicated and professional CDL Mobile Driver to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director of Donor Services, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our mobile blood collection unit while supporting blood drive operations and ensuring an exceptional donor experience.

This role involves transporting and maintaining equipment and supplies, assisting with blood collection operations, preparing blood units for transport, and helping create a welcoming and reassuring environment for donors.

• Equipment Management: Load, transport, set up, and dismantle equipment and supplies for blood collection events.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the bloodmobile and support vehicles, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and in proper working condition.
• Documentation: Complete required logs and reports, including Vehicle Inspection Reports (VIR) and Driver’s Daily Logs (DDL).
• Quality Control: Maintain accurate manual and electronic records related to quality control and blood collections.
• Public Relations: Promote positive relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners while representing Shepeard Community Blood Center professionally.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an approved phlebotomy course preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-6 months of experience operating vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or greater.
• Skills: Basic mechanical and clerical abilities; capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Class A or Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.
