The Service Porter plays an essential role in supporting daily service department operations by moving vehicles, maintaining a clean and organized lot and service area, and assisting technicians, advisors, and customers as needed. This position helps ensure an efficient workflow, a professional dealership appearance, and a positive customer experience from arrival to departure.

Job Duties
- Move vehicles safely between the service drive, parking lot, wash area, and service bays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the service department and lot.
- Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out as directed by service advisors or managers.
- Perform basic vehicle services such as washing, vacuuming, and fueling vehicles.
- Identify and report vehicle damage or safety concerns to management.
- Makes key tags for vehicles.
- Support technicians and advisors by retrieving vehicles and staging them for service.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and driving policies.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers when needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor and indoor environment.
- Previous dealership or vehicle handling experience preferred but not required.
- Schedule may include early mornings, afternoons, Saturdays, or rotating shifts based on service needs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Able to successfully pass a background screening and drug test, as applicable.
