Longwood Gardens is seeking a full-time Floral Services Associate to support the Floristry team in the execution of floral events and daily operations. This role focuses on executing high-end floral installations for events, exhibitions, and special occasions within a dynamic and fast-paced public garden environment. Specific responsibilities include:
- Producing floral arrangements for corporate, public, and internal events, maintaining Longwood’s high aesthetic standards.
- Collaborating with the Floristry Manager and team to interpret and execute design directives.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities and timelines.
- Maintaining floral workspaces and inventory, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown, including transporting and installing floral pieces.
- Communicating professionally with internal departments and external vendors as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years in floral services
- Knowledge of floral mechanics and sustainable design practices
- Experience with large-scale installations or exhibition work
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team
- The ability to stand for long periods of time in a physically demanding environment
- The ability to safely and repeatedly lift and carry items up to 40 pounds
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as required by event schedules
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team
