This role leads a highly skilled technical architecture practice within a global professional services organization, focused on helping enterprise customers successfully adopt and scale advanced DevSecOps platforms. You will oversee senior technical architects who guide complex implementations, shape solution design, and translate emerging capabilities into real-world customer value. The position sits at the intersection of engineering excellence, customer consulting, and strategic delivery leadership. You will play a key role in turning ambiguous, early-stage customer challenges into structured, repeatable solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Working in a fast-paced, distributed environment, you will partner closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure delivery consistency and technical credibility. This is a highly influential leadership role where your impact is felt across both customer success and internal delivery standards.
- Lead and develop a team of senior technical architects, supporting performance, career growth, coaching, and technical leadership across complex enterprise engagements
- Own the end-to-end professional services architecture practice, including presales support, solution scoping, delivery oversight, forecasting, and resource planning
- Guide the design and execution of complex customer implementations, ensuring alignment between technical architecture, customer objectives, and delivery feasibility
- Partner with engagement managers and sales teams on presales activities, including discovery, estimation, solution definition, and risk identification
- Drive the creation of reusable frameworks, delivery playbooks, architecture patterns, and implementation standards based on real customer engagements
- Support strategic customer conversations, helping resolve ambiguity and ensuring technical credibility in high-impact enterprise discussions
- Oversee the introduction of new platform capabilities into customer environments, ensuring successful adoption and continuous improvement of delivery approaches
- Represent the technical architecture function in leadership forums, contributing to service evolution, operational alignment, and delivery excellence
This role requires extensive experience leading technical consulting or professional services teams in complex enterprise environments. Candidates should bring deep technical credibility combined with strong leadership and customer-facing consulting skills.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering, with significant exposure to enterprise customer environments
- Proven experience managing senior technical professionals in consulting, professional services, or solution architecture functions
- Strong background in designing and delivering complex distributed systems, platform solutions, or enterprise-grade architectures
- Experience leading presales engagements including discovery, scoping, estimation, solution design, and technical risk assessment
- Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business outcomes and customer value narratives
- Experience building repeatable delivery frameworks such as playbooks, reference architectures, and implementation standards
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging executive-level customers and cross-functional leadership teams
- Deep understanding of modern software delivery practices, including DevSecOps, cloud-native architectures, and AI-enabled workflows (preferred)
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational leadership skills in fast-paced, global environments
