The Food & Beverage Manager provides leadership and operational oversight across all Food & Beverage outlets, driving service excellence, financial performance, team development, innovation, and consistency in the overall guest experience.

This role oversees beverage development, outlet operations (Talia Kitchen, Guenther’s Lounge, Brew 1902), inventory, purchasing, marketing coordination, and hands-on floor leadership. The position works across outlets to elevate the resort’s food and beverage offerings, improve operational performance, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Unlike a traditional outlet focused manager, this role bridges strategy and execution, providing support across multiple outlets while remaining actively engaged in the operation during peak business demands.

Requirements:

Primary Areas of Responsibility

Beverage Innovation & Development

  • Lead development of seasonal cocktail menus.
  • Create signature cocktails and wellness-inspired beverages.
  • Develop low- and no-alcohol beverage programs.
  • Support wine dinners, tastings, and special events.
  • Maintain beverage recipe standards and costing.
  • Research industry trends and introduce new concepts.

Outlet Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain service standards.
  • Coach Bartenders and Front of House (FOH) teams.
  • Support managers during service.
  • Ensure consistent execution of beverage programs.
  • Assist with training and menu rollouts.

Inventory & Purchasing

  • Manage beverage inventory.
  • Create weekly beverage orders.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.
  • Monitor beverage costs.
  • Reduce waste and inventory loss.
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Own Food & Beverage social media content.
  • Coordinate photography and videos.
  • Promote seasonal menus.
  • Highlight cocktails, wine dinners, wellness events, brunch, and resort activations.
  • Partner with Marketing to execute campaigns.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice.

Operational Support

Because this is a salaried operational leadership position, flexibility is expected.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cover bartender shifts when business requires.
  • Support serving or supervisory shifts during staffing shortages.
  • Assist with banquets and resort events.
  • Provide leadership during peak business periods.
  • Support all Food & Beverage outlets when operational needs arise.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Monitor beverage costs.
  • Improve beverage profitability.
  • Increase average guest check through beverage programs.
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
  • Identify revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Food & Beverage leadership.
  • Strong cocktail and spirits knowledge.
  • Wine knowledge preferred.
  • Inventory and purchasing experience.
  • Menu costing experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Social media content creation experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule- including nights, weekends, holidays.

  • Beverage revenue growth.
  • Increased average check.
  • Beverage cost management.
  • Social media engagement.
  • Successful menu launches.
  • Operational support across outlets.
  • Guest satisfaction.
  • Team development.
  • Collaboration with the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Food & Beverage.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday while working across multiple Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Ability to frequently walk, bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout operational areas.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to assist with moving supplies, beverage products, equipment, and other operational materials as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment, including periods of prolonged standing and physical activity during peak business periods, events, and service.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying temperatures and environmental conditions as required by operational needs.
  • Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
