Description:

The High Center for Family Business at Elizabethtown College is currently accepting applications for a Marketing and Training Coordinator.

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and improve the High Center’s operational processes, documentation, and internal systems while providing administrative support. The Marketing and Training Coordinator leads process review and training for staff and members, serves as the liaison to the Office of Marketing and Communications, and manages key digital and print assets. This position also supports system administration for Salesforce, Eventbrite, and routine website updates. Assist and act as backup for the Finance and Events Coordinator and the Peer Group Coordinator. This is an on-site position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Process Improvement and Training:

  • Conduct regular reviews of processes, systems, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate, update, and maintain documented processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a periodic review schedule for frequently used processes and documents.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs for High Center employees
  • Support the implementation or advanced usage of systems, software, and tools.

Marketing and Communications Coordination:

  • Serve as the liaison between the High Center and the Office of Marketing and Communications.
  • Manage content development and deployment for newsletters and digital communications.
  • Keep website updated to current content.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, review, and posting of social media content.
  • Update, maintain, and catalog all existing print and digital marketing assets.

Administrative and Operational Support:

  • Provide general administrative support for High Center programs, events, and operations.
  • Maintain accurate organization of physical and digital office spaces, including Shared Drive, templates, and file systems.
  • Manage Salesforce administrative tasks, including updates, reports, and user assistance.
  • Manage Eventbrite setup, registration, and event tracking.
  • Support website maintenance and updates.
  • Support Managing Director’s requests for Exit Planning and Best Practice snapshot surveys
  • Fulfill Salary.com and IBISWorld requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct all responsibilities in a safe manner according to regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma is required; plus ten years of office, organizational and customer relations experience is required; proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including high level skill with mail merge feature, preferred experience in Salesforce and Eventbrite, MailChimp, social media platforms (ie; LinkedIn and Facebook) and website design (ie; WordPress).

  • Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry a distance of 10 feet
  • Occasionally required to push and/or pull up to 25 pounds a distance of 10 feet
  • Occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time

VISION REQUIREMENTS

To successfully perform this position, individuals must possess the following:

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
  • Depth perception and the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships
  • Adjustable focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.

The individual is regularly exposed to indoor conditions and moderate noise level; the individual is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather and temperature extremes.
